The Used Toyota Belta Cars For Sale in Japan At Best Price
The Toyota Belta is also known as the Toyota Yaris in the North American and Australian markets. It is also known as the Toyota Vios in the South Asian markets. The car is categorized as a subcompact sedan manufactured in Japan by Toyota. It is a descendent of the Toyota Platz that was categorized as a sedan.
The used Toyota Belta for sale in Japan emerged with extended exterior dimensions and therefore the interior volume of the car also got larger than those of the 2000–2007 Corolla.
The Belta went on sale in 2005 in Japan. It was charged with a 1.0 or a 1.3-liter engine. It was offered for sale at the Toyota dealership known as Toyopet Store. It was offered for sale in export markets while many of the sports markets received a 1.5-liter engine with two options such as an optional upgrade or as standard fitment.
In many Asian markets other than Japan, the used Toyota Belta for sale is made available as the Vios.
It was manufactured and assembled in the Philippines and Thailand. For the American, Japanese, and Middle Eastern markets (except Morocco and Israel) the Belta is manufactured in Japan. The name Belta is derived from the contraction of the Italian word "Bella gente" meaning “beautiful people”.
The Vitz and the Belta have similar underpinnings with each other adding in the platform and the drivetrain. However, the Vitz was developed at Toyota's French design studios and the Belta was developed at the Toyota's Japanese design studios and yet the Vitz and Platz resembled very much in looks. The new Vitz hatchback and Belta sedans are more subtly associated.
The use of sheet metal is not made by both of the cars but the centralized dashboard design was similar. Due to the efforts made by Toyota to standardize the design for all markets, there were some cosmetic differences made too. The used Toyota Belta for sale in Japan at the best price was the only subcompact sedan car that was designed, manufactured, and sold in Japan.
It has no serious competitors in the Japanese Domestic Market as the competitors do not offer any sedan versions. The Japanese used Toyota Belta for sale in Japan ended its production in 2012 whereas the Yaris sedan has still its production going on in Australia.
The 2009 model year Yaris sedans had alloy designs, updated styling with a new grille, standard side curtain airbags, interior fabric, and anti-lock brakes. The options offered include satellite radio and a leather-wrapped steering wheel/shift knob.
Safety Features
The standard safety features include front seatbelt pretensioners, airbags, and head restraints for all seating positions. The optional features include side curtain airbags, ABS, and Side-impact airbags on the 2007 and 2008 year models.
The 2009 model is available with anti-lock brakes, front seat-mounted torso side airbags, and front and rear row side curtain airbags are offered as standard while the stability control was not offered on all the models of the used Toyota Belta for sale in Japan till 2010 Belta when it was offered as a standard feature. The Yaris sedan earned a “Good” rating score in the frontal crash test by the US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It is also rated as “Acceptable” in the roof strength evaluation.
